This is a full-time position, Tuesday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM at our Augusta office.

CASA and Prevention Internship
The CASA and Prevention Intern will assist with case management, volunteer support, and child abuse prevention efforts. Responsibilities include attending required training, helping with event planning, volunteer recruitment, and assisting staff with day-to-day tasks. Interns will also gain hands-on experience in CASA casework, maintain case records, and contribute to child abuse prevention initiatives. This position offers valuable experience in child welfare and prevention services.
The CAC Intern will support the team by assisting with family advocacy, therapy, forensic interviews, and group coordination. Responsibilities include attending required training, assisting with event planning, conducting follow-up calls, and attending multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings. Interns will gain hands-on experience with forensic interview summaries, individual therapy, and clinical documentation in the Collaborate system. Weekly supervision and accurate record-keeping are also part of the role. This internship is ideal for those pursuing a master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field, with an interest in child abuse and neglect dynamics.
